The INTEGRIS Health summer internship program provides an exciting hands-on healthcare administration experience for emerging healthcare leaders.

About the Administrative Internship Program

INTEGRIS Health’s 10-week paid summer internship program provides an opportunity for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students to work alongside senior leaders in various focus areas within Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system.

Internship experience includes:

  • Operational project work
  • Leadership development
  • Clinical and non-clinical shadowing
  • Networking opportunities

Interns will be assigned a concentration in a key department within our organization. Individual department leaders will serve as your preceptor and guide your project work. The INTEGRIS Health administrative fellow will serve as the program supervisor. Applicants will be considered for all concentrations. After interviews are complete, applicants will submit a ranked list of preferred internship placements for considerations.

  • Hospital Operations (Graduate School Only - to include accepted and incoming enrollees to accredited institutions)
  • Support Services - Environmental, Health and Safety
  • Finance
  • Human Resources
  • Patient Logistics (Graduate School Only - to include accepted and incoming enrollees to accredited institutions)
  • Construction/Realty (Graduate School Only - to include accepted and incoming enrollees to accredited institutions)
  • Information Technology

Criteria

Current or recent graduates of an undergrad or graduate degree are welcome to apply.

  • Official or unofficial transcript
  • Cover letter: One page maximum detailing why you are interested in INTEGRIS Health and how participating in the internship will support your career goals. 

Important Dates:

  • Application Deadline: November 29, 2024
  • Internship Interviews: Early December 2024
  • Offers Extended: Mid December 2024
  • Internship Runs: June - August 2025
