Welcome to the pediatric floor, otherwise known as 10 West! We are a 24-bed unit caring for pediatric patients ranging in age from newborns to 18 years of age with various medical diagnoses. Our staff hospitalists and mid-level providers collaborate with our pediatric specialists, including neurology, gastroenterology, burn, pulmonology and endocrinology.
Our nurses have a strong sense of teamwork and are committed to exceptional patient care.
Working in collaboration with our physicians, mid-level providers and ancillary staff, we partner with patient families to provide family-centered care.
Our nurse residents get a 12-week unit-specific orientation with a dedicated nurse preceptor. We foster an environment for professional growth with continuing education opportunities as well as incentives such as tuition reimbursement.
