Cardiovascular OR

We have four cardiovascular/thoracic ORs, one being a Hybrid OR, a cross between a cardiovascular OR and a cath lab. We really embody teamwork in our area to care for our patients. Depending on the case, we have two RN circulators, two to three surgical technologists, one to two surgeons, an anesthesiologist and possibly a perfusionist in the room caring for the patient.

What we can offer patients is truly like no other in the state: heart and lung transplants, left ventricular assist device implant, transcatheter aortic valve replacements, transcatheter mitral valve repairs, and complex endovascular procedures, to name just a few. From day one, you will never stop learning; not only can you be a CVT circulator you can also have the opportunity to learn how to scrub our CVT cases. We are a fast-paced and, at times, intense environment, but if you want the challenge of working in the best CVOR in the state, then this is the place.
