Jim Thorpe Clinical Development endeavors to promote clinical excellence and development in the professional practices of rehabilitation through evidence-based and innovative approaches. We aim to not only attract but to also retain rehabilitation professionals by providing frequent and timely educational offerings throughout the year. We strive to promote clinical expertise, leadership development, and educators/trainers/mentors among our rehabilitation staff members.
Our clinical education department also serves rehabilitation professionals outside of our healthcare system across the state via two-way interactive video-conferencing technology. We conduct live educational offerings throughout the year on topics that impact rehabilitation professionals across the continuum of care.
Our rehabilitation consultants conduct ‘one-one-one’ personalized rehabilitation training for both our patients and staff who provide direct care to our patients. After our patients are discharged from rehabilitation, we strive to promote community-based education (e.g., stroke education and fall prevention) as well as monthly support groups to improve the long-term health and wellness of our patients with disability and their family members.
