Surgical Admissions Pre/Post Op

Welcome to INTEGRIS Surgical Admitting Unit. We are located on the 2nd floor of the INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, Northwest Expressway campus.

We are a 24-bed surgical admitting unit, and we get the privilege of seeing patients of all ages coming through our doors. We are a relatively fast-paced unit that can prepare anywhere between 45-65 patients per day for all types of surgical procedures. We prepare patients for the simplest procedures, like tonsillectomies, to more complex procedures like cardiovascular and transplants. Our team of nurses works closely with our patient care technicians, OR circulators, surgeons, and anesthesiologists to provide the quality of care our patients need and expect while at INTEGRIS Health.

SAU is a team-oriented, goal-driven unit that provides top-quality care.

Individuals applying to our unit can expect to have a dedicated preceptor for the orientation process.
