INTEGRIS Health Children’s Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Intensivist to join an established Pediatric Critical Care program with nationally recognized pediatric intensivists and pediatric hospitalists.
The PICU at INTEGRIS Health Children’s Baptist Medical Center is a 10-bed, state-of-the-art ICU dedicated to the care of critically ill children from birth to 17 years of age.
The nursing staff is certified in pediatric advanced life support, and many of the nurses are nationally certified in pediatric critical care or pediatrics. In addition to being trained for a variety of specialized pediatric needs, our team works closely with the Burn Surgeons at The Paul Silverstein Burn Center at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, making it the only pediatric burn program in the state.
Our Pediatric Services offer comprehensive support services to meet the special needs of the pediatric patient. The following services are available: pediatric social worker, pastoral care, home health, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, child life specialist and a pediatric pharmacist specializing in pain management.
Our unit models family-centered care by recognizing the developmental needs of children and their families, which improves and enhances the clinical outcomes of our patients.
